The Scümpa™ Aisle Easel™ is an eco-friendly toy designed to transform the mundane shopping trip into a creative adventure. It is made of PLA, a corn-based material, similar to plastic in look and feel, but completely biodegradable when composted.
In the spirit of great modern design, every element of the Aisle Easel™ is based on the idea that form follows function. It is fully self-contained, measures 12” x 14”, and is lightweight. Integrated handles make it easy to carry from car to cart. It comes with 8 soy-based crayons that are stored in the flip tray at the base of the easel, and 5 sheets of 100% post-consumer waste recycled paper clipped to the top. The Aisle Easel’s molded contours allow it to remain stable while you shop and your child colors.
And the Aisle Easel™ has the practical perk of being double-sided, so that parents can carry shopping lists, coupons, recipes and receipts while their child happily draws and colors.
